Since 1997, Sugaree’s has created made-from-scratch cakes in the historical Southern town of New Albany, Mississippi. Every one of the cakes is made with real, premium ingredients using traditional techniques from recipes that have been passed down for generations. We believe not only does this make a better cake, but it serves as a connection to our past, one of family and community. While all of our cakes taste different, they all taste like home.

Chocolate Cake

Made with rich buttercream icing, our moist chocolate cake will remind you of the best chocolate cake of your childhood.

Caramel Cake

Our signature cake is painstakingly made by melting granulated sugar in a cast iron skillet. This labor of love will be appreciated after the first bite.

Strawberry Cake

Our Strawberry cake icing gets its sweetness from the rich, flavorful European butter used in the icing and its color from the real plump strawberries used throughout.

Coconut Cake

Made by pouring a melted butter glaze over hot butter cake layers. Then, spread with cooked divinity icing, and lastly, topped off with fresh coconut.

Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Our recipe originates from a local lady known for selling cakes for her church community. Her spirit lives on in these cakes ($2 goes to her church’s youth group for every cake sold).

Rainbow Cake

Perfect for birthday parties and other festive events, our Rainbow cake has 5 different flavored butter layers. Cream cheese icing and sprinkles for a party for your eyes and mouth.
